Laura—A Force of Nature in Music and Creativity
Laura is one of Estonia’s most celebrated vocalists, a dynamic artist whose career spans nearly two decades of brilliance across pop, jazz, and improvisation. With over 10 albums and 28 solo singles under her belt, she’s graced stages worldwide, from Europe to Japan and the USA. A two-time representative for Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest (2005, 2017) and a finalist in Finland’s Eurovision (2021), Laura has become synonymous with bold artistry and unforgettable performances.
But Laura is far more than just a singer. Known for her innovative stagecraft—think pole dancing and daring tricks—she transforms every concert into a multisensory experience. Her voice, versatile and magnetic, is a gateway to deep emotional connections with her audience.
Offstage, Laura is a scholar and a teacher. Currently pursuing a PhD, her groundbreaking research explores how improvisation fosters creativity, resilience, and fresh perspectives. She’s passionate about the brain’s ability to unlock new ideas through persistence, and she shares these insights in workshops at events like the Mindvalley Conference, where participants leave with practical tools to navigate uncertainty and spark creativity.
Laura’s achievements extend to leadership roles, including her time as President of the Estonian Jazz Union (2016–2019), and to boundary-pushing collaborations, like her duo Laura & W, which fuses electronic symphonies with improvisational freedom.
Whether she’s topping charts with hits like “Lihtsad Asjad” or enchanting listeners with a soulful jazz standard, Laura’s mission remains the same: to connect, inspire, and push the limits of artistic expression.
